Newborn photographers are often praised for their patience. Yes, I do admit, it does take a lot of calmness and often a steady hand, but when you do something you enjoy, patience comes naturally.

Twins portrait sessions can be daunting, but with an amazing team and alot of experience it is such fun!

Having a small team of incredible assistants during these type of sessions makes it so enjoyable. The twins were not wiggly or tearful, but it is undoubtedly safer for more than one person to watch over, pose, wrap, and hold two babies.

Mom and Dad were nearby, prepared to feed a hungry child, be it one of the twins, or their eldest daughter, Uma, who was overflowing with energy.

She was clearly ecstatic to finally be a big sister, and was more than happy to give them a snuggle for the camera.

When Uma wasn’t in front of the camera, Grandma was right around the corner entertaining her with our collection of toys from a prize box.

We made sure to get photos of the twins individually as we normally might for newborns, and the family requested we pose them sleeping together as well.

We wrapped Vera and Winona in pink and purple, captured them in their bassinets, and then wrapped them in white for family photos.

For just having twins, Mom and Dad are some of the most calm parents around.

Vera and Winona don’t know it yet, but they’re a lucky pair of babies!
